Do you need the radio?
Skylight can find the planes above you two ways.
With the radio
A $55 USB stick and a small antenna. It , the instant they pass, and works even if your internet is out.
Without it
Skylight reads a free internet feed of other people's radios. Nothing to buy, but it needs the internet, and it only sees what volunteers near you can hear.
Why not always use the free feed?
It's run by volunteers and can change its rules; the one Skylight used before closed to the public in 2026. A radio is yours forever and hears exactly what's over your roof.
